it all comes full circle with new possibilities...

Sweet. Tender. Endearing. It has been a couple of years and things are coming together for a new couple with a connection to the others that none of them were expecting or looking for. Joanne was the friends, the honorary aunt, the nurse. She brought to life the joy in one little girl and was now making changes for her own life. In come a stranger or so she thinks a stranger, JT.

In this one we get some of the characters from previous books in other series from this author and we get to see more of the ones we have come to have a connection with. We see where they are now and what's going on in their world. Then we get to meet some new characters. Some were pleasant other were not so much.

I enjoyed Lisa Beacom voice. I loved her pitches, tone change, inflection and just all around. I found home with her voice and this story.

A great ending to the series

I have come to love this series about friends who are as close as family and how serendipity brings new discoveries.
This time the story belongs to Joanne DuPree, whom we met in previous stories, and JT Williams, a single Dad photographer.
Joanne has moved to be close to her friend Amy and her daughter, whom she took care at one time. She meets JT at the ice rink not realizing that they had met when they were in their teens.
While their lives seemed to be moving in the direction of a romance between them, first misunderstandings and later a terrible accident interferes.
Then they are hit with an overwhelming discovering.
Will it make them all stronger and find their HEA?
This was another wonderful story in the series that ties all the loose ends and brings friends and family together.
In addition to the engaging plot, the author reminds us that as a society, we frequently cause others to have body image issues. Issues that can affect the individual for the rest of their lives and a stigma that should be corrected.
I wish to add that the narrator, Lisa Beacom, did an excellent job throughout the story by bringing it to life.

JT & Joanne

Joanne does not remember meeting JT years ago, but he never forgot her. A great read. I wish to know what happened next.

Great conclusion to the series!

This is Joanne's story (who we met in book 3) and how she ties into the Heart of the Family is awesome. She meets JT who is a single dad and their romance is a bit different then those of the first 3 books. It develops a little slower (although still pretty quickly). Fate has brought these two characters back together after they briefly met years ago, even though Joanne doesn't remember having met JT. They have a very sweet love story that ends up helping to wrap up the story of the Montenegro children and the questions about the family. I really liked that part of the overall story that brought all the characters together and the theme of fate and love that ran through the series. I enjoyed this series and it was my first by Stacy Eaton. I will be checking out some of her other books now because I enjoyed this so much. As always, Lisa Beacom did a great job bringing the characters to life with her narration. I received a copy of this audiobook for my honest review.

This is the best book of the series!

I am impressed. This had minimal profanity and only one truly explicit sex scene. The story was very good, with a lot of wholesome interactions and intriguing events. The book content was filled with one non-stop situation after another. It totally captivated the reader’a attention.
The characters were very well developed and adventures dramatically portrayed. The Title and Cover image were fitting.
The narrator, Lisa Beacom, did a fairly good job in her performance and in projecting the various “voices “. I wasn’t a fan of the voice she used depicting the main female character, JoAnn, but I am certain not all will agree.
*This book was gifted me with no pressure for a positive review. This is my honest review.
