Short story not bad but wanted more
Short story not bad but wanted more.
Performance was ok
Somethings were a bit cliche. Ha!

Not bad for a short story
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
If you need a quick listen, this is a good audiobook. It condensed the story well.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I would like to listen to the story on the long version.

The narrator did a great job!

Good story but the ex pissed me off!
I love the story...but the ex girlfriend really pissed me off! OMG! I really wanted her to get beat up or something. I love when Makalya finds Blade in her bed.... naked... so cute... and she is all hypnotized! And Blade... what a name... Then when they have smex! Burke can really write a smex scene... But that ex girlfriend... OMG! Then when the little boy comes into the picture I was so sad for Makalya... This story had so much angst!
The best scene is when Blade finds Makalya in HIS BED! WHAT! (OMG!) BEST SCENCE EVER!
Laramie did an awesome job as usually. Great buy...because it is so cheap... Don't waste credit...just buy... well worth it...

I'm not really into romance books like at all but I was feeling spicy and thought I'd give it a try I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED I finished this book in record time for books like this the way the narration was executed the storyline everything was perfect LOOOVED IT

Not bad...
First time reading/listening to a book by this author. The story was OK for me. In the beginning I was a bit bored with the story, but it got better as I listened to more. The narration was OK for me, I wasn't too crazy about her male voices. With that being said, I would give both author and narrator another listen. The sex was pretty good.

Unrealistic and Utter Waste of my Time
Unrealistic expectations from someone you've known for 24-48 hours.
Terrible dialogue and lots of eye rolling with military metaphors.
Regrettable purchase.
