Authentic, behind the scenes look at life in one of law enforcement's most critical and complicated roles.
Pat does a great job of giving detailed accounts of experiences that he has had that allow the reader to take a look at what goes on behind the scenes of a crisis negotiation. He is gifted at keeping the readers' attention with his storytelling without embellishing or fluffing the stories. He just tells it like it is/was and it makes you not want to put the book down.
