I laughed just as hard as I learned from this book. I love the cultural history lessons and her work ethic is beyond reproach! Loved it

This was a great memoir by Gina Yashere. Loved hearing Gina read her memoir. Her intonation, inflections, and sense of humor kept through the pages.

Beautifully delivered.

She had my attention. I couldn’t stop listening , I ended up ignoring everybody all day just to keep listening definitely listen on a nice off day while cleaning. You won’t regret this audible, it was a whole performance. In fact i am going to get me a hard copy after this.

Never give up

Gina’s life has one common theme, NEVER GIVE UP. From a toddler to adult she had a dream and kept it in view at all times. I can’t wait to hear part 2 of your story of living in the USA. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR LIFE.
