A truly interesting look

A truly interesting look at a guy who always struck me as being an insufferable jerk. Turns out that he was indeed quite the jerk and this book makes no attempt to gloss over that fact. However, the book also gives us a look at Jobs' good side and what a fascinating side it was. This book will appeal to everyone from the total technical layman to professional computer scientists. It's really not so much about the technology but about the man. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

A common thread of the highly successful entrepre

A very thorough review of the Amazon story and a profile of its founder. As in other books I have listen about these success stories, the founder has been very arrogant, highly driven, very hands on, and at one or more times in the story, was extremely lucky at a pivotal time in the life of the company.

This book about some great business people. It really didn't seem like biographies at all. I was a little disappointed.

Filled with life lessons. Inspiring and thought provoking. JR MacGregor has written a superbly story on those great persons.Loved this book..

A Driven Man

There is so much I didn’t know about Elon Musk before listening this book. From where he grew up in South Africa to his time at PayPal, Tesla and SpaceX I’m exhausted listening of his life’s work, so far. How much more is there to come from Elon Musk? Great listen , however, some what technical in spots for me.

Easy to listen

Easy to listen. But it's almost a 50% biography book of Jack Ma ~ rather than detailed of Alibaba itself. Was expecting more based on the book title.

Amazing, Inspiring Biographies of Brilliant men.

Amazing, Inspiring Biographies of Brilliant men. The narrator's voice kept dipping in and out as if his head was turning to and from the mic. Even so, I highly recommend this book. Really makes one marvel at the depth of the people the stories are about. As well, shows the common and uncommon threads that we can use to propel ourselves in our own arenas.

Enjoyed this book very much. Very interesting information. Very well written. A lot of facts. Most surprising info about the US government. They don't care to spend billions when millions would do it.

Powerful! You will enjoy listening. The book explains what it took Bill Gates to build Microsoft and grow the computer revolution. Bill Gates was CEO of Microsoft Corporation and greatly empowered the world's computer industry with his effective and precious software. His book gives you great insight and deep vision on the challenges Bill faced. The book is much more than fascinating.

Unbiased, Intriguing, Timeless

These 5 books focus on the personality and character of each of the subjects. I like that they are all unbiased in their interpretation. Understanding the truth of the character and then relating their life to their achievements is the goal of each book.

My favorite points in this audiobook were:

1. Successful people - only compete with themselves.
2. Focusing only on contribution - will bring success.
3. Understand prosperity for all - is best for all.
4. Creativity - is seeing more (or further) than most.
5. Let the success of historical examples be your guide and a desire for achievement be your goal.
