Excellent love story. Totally worth the buy. Hunky fireman and dissatisfied housewife come together and their fire ignites

great read

I listened to this on Audible and it was great. the storyline was believable and not too outrageous. There were some things about Collin and Finnleys relationship that were strange but beautiful at the same time. They wasted no time rekindling their love. The narrator did a great job portraying everyone separately.

Best (audible) book I've heard in months!

This is a case where I enjoyed reading the book way more than listening to the audio version; and I’m glad I did, otherwise, I probably would have rated it lower.

Jason Clarke was very good but Ashley Klanac’s performance was mediocre at best. She over-dramatized her scenes and her slow speech pattern and stretching of words had me tempted to skip her POVs and rush through the story.

The blurb of this book sucked me in and had me fully engaged from beginning to end.

It was fast-paced and well-written with some really steamy sex scenes. Hmm....h wondered what it would be like to have sex with her first high school sweetheart since they never went "all the way" and boy did he learn a lot in 17 years. That speaker scene alone was off the charts hot! Great main and side character's. This was a believable plot and not overly done.

This book is my first introduction to Tara Sivec's and I liked it so much that I'm already onto the next book!

This book was a roller coaster ride of extreme emotions. It took me from from happy top dad to thrilled to devastated. It was great!

Hot and steamy 2nd Chance romance

I really enjoyed this book. I liked the characters right away and everything felt very realistic. The book had plenty of steam and a nice HEA.

The prologue almost made me stop listening to this audible.
Thank goodness I forged ahead. Storyline could have been taken from the news headlines. I laughed. I got mad and I cried. Must confess I even yelled at the audible. (I was in the car, alone) I’m sure If anyone wittiness it, they thought I was crazy.
Tara Sivec, you are a talented writer.
Jason Clarke and Ashley Klanac I applaud your work. There was one little thing. I felt the need to speed up the tracks. Felt like it was recorded on the wrong speed. Over all, I really enjoyed it! Thank you.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!

If you've ever been in an abusive relationship (raises hand slowly) then this is a must read! If you just want to read a great book then again, thus is A must read for you.. I too was in an abusive relationship for 3 years, he cheated on me, gave me a VD as proof of it happening. He lied, he choked me many times to the point of almost passing out, he slammed my head on the window in his car, he physically and verbally assaulted me and as hard as it is to say and for anyone I told to understand he did rape me. His reasoning "I just wanted to see how it would feel to overpower someone. To see if I could really have that much control over u." I was 18 and stayed with.him from 17-20 yrs old. Then I was done, I had enough and left him, it wasn't easy at all. Then 3 months later I ended up with someone I graduated with, 2 weeks later we get engaged and on 9/24/14 we celebrated 20 yrs of a very happy marriage. This book brought me thru my journey even though the story itself is different. BRAVO Tara, it was a different type of book for you. I loved the entire story. It was better than I ever thought it would be. We both ended up with our princes.
The narrators were AMAZING. I love listening to a book and really liking the people telling the Story!!
