He hated vamps, she hated "dogs". Didn't they? Why did they have these feelings when they were together?
She was pretty good at self-defense. He was great at his job. Her life or a bundle of money was at stake.
The characters are interesting and both are hot. Their chemistry baffles them. How will they deal with their prejudices and their desires? You won't guess the outcome and you'll wonder about the inner being of them both. There are other characters involved whose feelings will intrude on the relationships.
Plenty of steam to keep listening and a great story.

My Favorite Story in the Series!

This is the fourth book in the Underground Encounters Series. Layla and Devon's story is fast paced, intriguing, action packed, and entertaining. They are opposites attract and they share an a sizzling chemistry. This is a great enemies to lovers. This is my favorite story in the series. Amber Lee Connors and Kieran Flitton did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to Heat, the next book in the Series. #AudiobooksUnleashed

Burn by Lisa Carlisle is a enemy to lovers story a vampire and a shapeshifting bounty hunter and underground club how could it be more interesting . A excellent listen a excellent story and we'll preformed. I recommend check out this series I was given this audio in exchange for a honest review and I will gladly continue following this author I very much enjoyed this

Great series

Rock and roll and vamps, doesn't get any better than this. Devon is a bounty hunter who is also a shifter. He hates vampires. He is sent to capture Layla for a crime she didn't commit. Hiding out as a lead singer for a hard rock band, Layla, now Angelica tries hard not to be attracted to Devon. Enjoyed this story. Liked the narration of two voices. It made the story more interesting.

I really enjoyed this 80's style Paranormal listen. The story sucks you in and the journey they take is so good. This is a first listen by Kierna Flitton which I really loved his voice. Amber did a great job as well.

Sexy vampire/shifter romance

I loved this one ! Writer and both narrators were all new to me and they did a fabulous job. Vampire/shifter enemies to lovers romances are my favorite in PRN and this one had the added 80s style music band background. The gen x’er in me is delighted ! Its sexy, exciting and dripped me from ch1 to the end. I definitely want to listen to the rest of the series. Well done !

Great series and I love them all. Lisa is a fantastic author and I love all her reads. Love listening to the audiobooks. Narrator did a fantastic job also.

Forbidden Lovers

Layla is a vampire that flees her master when she's accused of a crime she didn't commit. She reinvents herself as a lead singer in a band. Devon is a shifter and a bounty hunter and tracks Layla down at Vamps and is all set to bring her back. But their attraction is unable to be denied and Devon finds himself falling for the forbidden vamp and questioning everything he knows about vampires. The only way these two will survive and find out the truth is if they can get past their hatred and accept their connection.
I'm seriously loving these two narrators together in this series! They not only bring the characters and story to life, but put all the emotion and animation into their narration to really keep your attention.

A tale of two predators...

Another good story filled with action, suspense and one hot sexy shifter. Layla on the run is being hunted by a bouncer hunter. But he isnt only a hunter he is a predator as well. I loved how tricky she was at the beginning when he caught her. As well as how he seemed unable to resist her.

I listened to this on audio. Amber Lee Connors and Kieran Flitton did a good job. They are easy to listen to.

Devon & Layla's Story

If paranormal stories are your thing you'll enjoy this one, this whole series really. Devon and Layla - shapeshifter and vampire. Very strong and well written characters.
