the perfect guide

this is by far the most in-depth book on the old religion that I have read so far. Raymond Buckland does an amazing job at going into detail on every subject imaginable in this book which makes it the perfect go to guide for anyone who is either doing research on the different sects of the religion or practicing the religion itself. what I most enjoyed about this book was flow of chapter and that everything was described with step by step instructions. The more complex rituals were described in a way that you can understand it easily and do it correctly. There is so much information and background in every topic which is great so at least you are taught the meanings and reasoning behind what you are learning. Raymond Buckland also wrote several other books which I will also read; he was a great man and will be missed. rest in peace, brother, in love and light. Blessed Be!

I loved this book it was so insiteful and very honest. very little to question and gave more options.

Exactly what you need to start your witchy journey! Only critique is that the chapters aren’t named, so if you want to refresh on something it’s a bit hard to pinpoint where to go. I will be buying the book so I can do just that and highlight.

Intense

Great reference book. Good knowledge. It is a bit intense. To much to Absorb out once, take it chapter by chapter

Interesting content - but -

A book like this is really not suitable for audio - and the narration is terribly choppy and uneven. The cadence is often distracting.

Full of information

There is a lot to digest. I would recommend purchasing the book as well unless you like to take notes. I will be re listening to this several more times.
