Outstanding characters, plot, performance. The writing was fascinating with little seasonings of humor however dark.The performer is a genius. an addicting read.

If you could sum up Brothers and Bones in three words, what would they be?

Complex, Complicated, Realistic

What did you like best about this story?

I like the idea that a seemingly homeless man is a vital part of the plot. It is a reminder that people's circumstances can change causing them to lose the things in life that we sometimes take for granted. The bond that Bones forms with the main character is heartwarming.

What about John Rubinstein’s performance did you like?

I liked the emotions that his voice added to the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to listen more but since it is as long book I had to get to a stopping place in the story.

Don't understand the negative reviews...

While I wouldn't call this literature, it was a really well written story - nicely paced, characters were completely sussed out, plot was well formed and thoroughly enjoyable. If you're into the genre, then I wholly recommend this book! I have no idea what the nay-sayers are complaining about!

Fun mob book!

I loved this book. It had a main character that was at times a little naive but still you could relate to him. This book grabbed my attention from the very first line. It was full dry humor and action. Overall a fun book.

Perfect, simple story with a twist and a very good narrator. Wish they can make a movie about this book.

Suspensful

This book keeps you guessing. I usually guess a books ending but this one surprised me.

Unbelievable - literally.

Good book - held my interest; however, just not believable, which, I understand, is maybe the point of fiction. But I kinda like my reading to be a bit more swallowable (!)

Easy Listening

Enjoyed it although the writing seemed a bit young. Loved the reader, loved the difference in voices.
