There is something to hearing a person’s experience in their own words and voice. This is heartfelt. You could hear the Lord calling. A truly anointed work. I’m reminded of 2 Corinthians 4:7-9. Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great is from God and not us. We are hard-pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. Whether you have experienced a deep loss or not, this book is the must read. pointIng us to Christ on every page, Sherri‘s wisdom and passion are dynamically used to convey the truth of God‘s word in every facet of life God has used this event, mightily in my life and the lives of countless others. As Rick said, Satan chose the wrong family. What satan meant for evil God meant for good! I am thankful that I read this book. And thankful for the Burgess’s. Praise be to God.

All the emotions

This is wonderfully written book. The personal touch of being read by the author/mother makes it so much more heart wrenching.
She quickly feel the broken hearted emotions that you would expect when you hear of a tragedy such as this. But this family does not let you stay there. They quickly point you to their God and Father and challenge you to get to know him deeper and more intimately.
They remind us that death is just temporary for the believer and God’s Love and Provision is more real than anything we will encounter.
Chapter 5 will be my go to over and over until it takes root and grows.
God is good!

Amazing testimony

This is my first book to “listen” to. It’s amazing. I’ve gone between being broken hearted and rejoicing how God sustains us and has worked through Bronner even today. I’m amazed at Sherri and Rick’s faith and trust in God. God has been glorified by their testimony.
