About this listen

Emma's world is falling apart, and Kade, the only one who seems to hold her together, is missing. With death lingering right outside their door, decisions must be made before it's too late.

The Midway has refused to send help, so they are left to seek out the only other who can stop Lucian. A perilous quest sends Emma and a few Guardians into the Underworld, where the unimaginable abide, to beseech the Prince of Darkness himself. Lucifer. Now, they must endure the deadly levels of Hell, which not one - mortal or immortal - has ever survived. Prepare for love, loss, and the unexpected.

Just wow!

Emma goes on a grand adventure into Hell and experiences so many things and grows so much. There are lots of twists and turns and a big surprise that happens towards the end. I'm wondering how on Earth this problem is going to be resolved. On to the next book!

Still a great story

I like the second installment of this series. There is a lot of struggle in this one, but I am still hooked.

Book 2 was better than book 1

Would you try another book from Cameo Renae and/or Susannah Jones?

From Cameo Renae yes, not a fan of Jones

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The way the story line intertwines with mortal and immortality. A 17 yr old girl being portrayed as what would appear to be a 13yr old

Would you be willing to try another one of Susannah Jones’s performances?

No

Do you think Broken Wings needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, there's more to the story

through the pit of hell

The author leads us through the levels of hell to ask Lucifer for his help to fight against Lucien, who is killing the Nephillim. When Emma and Samuel finally make it to Lucifer's living quarters, they meet Lucifer's son, Ethan, with whom Emma bonds. According to prophesy, she must chose a side....light or dark....

Not as good as the first

Emma is awfully whinge-y even when she is accomplishing something. A lot of thoughts and angst when actions could portray it better, in my opinion.
