Publisher's summary

Air Force One is down. The president is dead.

Maggie Trousdale has been vice president for only 48 hours before she’s thrust into the executive office. As smoke rises over Turkey from the wreckage of the former president’s plane, America demands answers. Nobody knows what brought the aircraft down, Turkey has restricted all access to the crash site, and the White House is in chaos.

But as the nation unravels, President Trousdale discovers a cryptic message left by her recently deceased predecessor. The attack on Air Force One may not have been a matter of foreign aggression. It may have been an inside job, and if it was, Trousdale is the next target.

With crosshairs on her back and no one to trust, Trousdale turns to the only man she knows can’t be bought: disgraced Force Recon Marine and criminal fugitive Reed Montgomery. He’s a violent man with a twisted past, but if anybody can uncover the truth, it’s Montgomery. He’ll need to move quickly because global security is now in jeopardy and the nation stands on the brink of war.

The president’s vigilante may be the only man who can bring the free world back from the edge.

Following on the heels of Ryles' gripping Reed Montgomery series, the hero fans call a mix of Mack Bolan, John Wick, and Mitch Rapp returns in a new series of political thrillers set to shake you to the core and keep you reading late into the night.

Reed Montgomery is back—and he's deadlier than ever.

Solid 4.5 stars

5 stars until the last couple of chapters when it got a little unbelievable at the end.

What a ride!

This is on entertaining action thriller. Just enjoy the ride with Reed, I guaranteed.
The geopolitic and inside job plot is also fun. I want more!

Good beginning to a Series

I really enjoyed the story line and how the author took some time to introduce each character so that you knew their back story. I look forward to reading the rest in this series. However, none of them are on Audible.

8 hours felt like 2.

Loved this story. I was drawn into the book as if I were right there in the action along with the characters.

OUTSTANDING

This is the first Logan Ryan book I’ve read..,but it certainly won’t be the last. If you like the genre of political intrigue and military action, you’ll LOVE this book. As soon as finished it, I purchased Book 2 in the Prosecution Force Thriller series.

Struggled

You have to suspend reality completely to read this book. Normally I can do that for the sake of a great story. I just couldn’t get there with this one. Not enough of the plot seemed remotely plausible for me to enjoy this book.
