About this listen

Sir Aubrey Tabor began with the most altruistic of motives. When the Brundys' seaside wedding trip is interrupted by a young woman claiming to be Mr. Brundy's sister, Sir Aubrey promises to do what he can in order to relieve his friend of an imposter whose presence poses a threat to marital bliss. But golden-haired Polly proves to be more than a match for Sir Aubrey, and with each encounter, he finds himself thinking less of his friend's honeymoon, and more about having one of his own.

Good read

Brighton Honeymoon by Sheri Cobb South was a good read. Ethan and Lady Helen are newlyweds that go on a wedding trip. Unfortunately the cottage they are staying in is filled with a lot of people. I enjoyed reading Ethan and Lady Helen's story.

Loved This

"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, via Audiobook Boom, and have voluntarily left this review."

This was book two of the weaver's story. I loved the first story and this one did not disappoint. Helen played her role perfectly and the H/h were able to find each other after all of the twists and turns. this was a good story and the narrator was spot on.

Yes Please!!!!

I finished book one in this series and jumped right away into book two. Loved it!!!!

We are a few months into the Brundy's marriage and they've finally made plans for a honeymoon. Plans go awry with the presence of Ethan's "sister" but Lord Tabor has it all well at hand. Sort of.

The author penned a great story with a lot of wonderful happenings. Through it all, there is this not-to-be-missed narration. I've already listened to book three (Loved!) so on to book four.

another winner by Sheri Cobb South

I have found this Weaver series by Sheri Cobb South to scratch the Regency itch long ago created by Georgette Heyer. I am so glad I found this author. Her light, clean period plots are satisfying as a romance should be.

Brighton honeymoon

This was another good one. Ethan was delightful as in the first one. I just can’t get enough of his character, however, since this one was about Polly and Aubry I have to say that the story was enjoyable but lacked a bit for me but overall it was a good book.

Sweet and fun

Audiobook: Narrator - Noah Michael Levine

I love this narrator. He’s done an awesome job of these characters and while this one isn’t as entertaining as the first book I still enjoyed it. No trouble discerning character’s voices or following along. And, another awesome listen to Ethan Brundy’s accent! Swoon!

This was so sweet and cute! Loved that we got to watch Ethan as he tries to steal some time away from everyone to spend with his wife but watching Sir Aubry and Polly match wits was incredibly fun and entertaining. Poor Aubry, he had his hands quite full with Polly and her innocent ways. Loved this couple!

Wonderfully WItty

Author Sheri Cobb South does it again. I'd read anything by her! The characters are so rich. The wit and richness of the characters are brought to life by the narration of Noah Michael Levine. Bravo to this team. I especially enjoyed Brundy and his love, Helen. Their love for one another is fresh and ever so adorable.

Sir Aubrey’s tale & more of the Bundys!

Any additional comments?

For those of you, like me, who couldn’t get enough of the Bundys in “The Weaver Takes A Wife” their tale continues here as they attempt to embark on their honeymoon in Brighton. However this is ostensibly the tale of Sir Aubrey trying to rid the Bundys of Polly, a somewhat unwelcome house guest and how he goes about accomplishing that feat. Once again, we have a rollicking good time, this time in Brighton and the surrounds instead of London and have Prinny thrown in for good measure! It’s a Regency isn’t it? I loved it and only wished there was a third book to continue the stories. Thanks to the author for providing me with a free audiobook for my unbiased opinion. I’ve read the print copy, as well, and think I enjoyed the audio even more!

Enjoyable

I liked this book. The narrator Noah Michael Lavine does a wonderful job with this book. I don't tend to read romance or historical books but I was gifted this book with the understanding I would leave an honest review. Honestly I really enjoyed the book. I am not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I had read it and not listened to it. Noah really brought life to this story for me. I will look for more in this series if I can have them read to me :-)

Fun Regency!

This was a fun little listen!
I did not exactly care for Polly's deception but could understand why she felt she had to lie.
I would still consider this a "clean" romance, there was nothing explicit. Though the discussion of a mouse or rat at the breakfast table was funny.
Poor Mr. Brundy wanted a honeymoon, alone, with his wife. He didn't exactly get it.
I love how Helen loves Ethan. I found Sir Aubry's love of Polly quite amusing as it seemed to surprise him.
The ending was perfect!
