So Much Fun
This is utterly delightful.
As a fan of the Small Town Murder podcast, “Brackish Waters” reminds me of the best one-star citizen’s review. That initial geeky excitement never abated; I was pleased as punch throughout the whole audiobook.
Christina Applegate is an amazing narrator, who brings so much sarcasm, life, and snide humor to the story. I could picture myself there with her, giggle-snorting at her wit and just as disgusted by the comedic disappointment which is the resort and her trip and her life. There's also awe at the heart of this coming-of-middle-age story; I was left hopeful and fulfilled.

A REAL book
This book had me laughing and ringing over the REAL-ness. Christina Applegate’s performance was spot on. This could easily be a great Netflix movie.

Facts of Mom-ing
The number of ways I can relate....countless! This was a great story with lots of laughs and noteworthy cringe moments and Christina said it perfectly. I could easily picture the big F*You moments like I was watching a movie instead of listening to the book. Only a few teary eyed moments, but not too heavy that tears actually fell. (Winning!)
To sum it up... I loved it all!

Funny, but real
Christina Applegate's performance was spectacular. The story was real and I could totally pit myself at that "resort". Well written.

Don’t let this little gem pass you by!!
So, now I’m searching for more books by this author and definitely more books narrated by Christina Applegate. She is beyond fabulous! She took me there, seriously with the author’s words and her amazing narration, I saw and felt everything!!!! Such a great little listen!!!!!

Snort out loud funny
A perfect quick listen fir the last leg of a long road trip. Christina Applegate was a great narrator. The story hit a lot of the topics of the our generations second coming of age . would recommend to a friend. I am going to listen again si I can write down some of those one liners.

Just Great
If you ever wondered how aggressive women can become and how that aggression is manifested, please try this on for size. Christina Applegate is fantastic and the vacation or life or situation from hell we all find ourselves in can melt away in Brackish Waters.
