He does a really great job with the voices and expressions to personalize the story and make it easy for the listener to get an accurate impression of what each character is like. This helps to set the mood, familiarize the reader with the characters, and offers a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the book. You won’t want to miss this!

West is a werewolf who developed a unique gift when he reached puberty. He is an Omega and can use moon magic to bond anyone to him. He just had to be careful to avoid making it permanent. Unfortunately a year ago he did the unthinkable.
Topher is a made wolf. He was kidnapped by vampires and kept and used as a blood bag until he escaped. When he tried to take his life West saved him but bonded their wolves to each other.
It's been a year since then and West had kept himself in strict and rigid control until one night they came in. But as they try to figure out what's going on Topher find out his brother had been taken by the vampires. Now the search is on to try to find and rescue him. But the vampires also have a bounty on Topher. As they think they are coming close things go sideways. Will they get his brother back? What about the situation between Topher and West?
A fantastic story that will keep the trade on the edge of their seat.

Topher and West

This particular book is about West and Topher Greer. West had used his moon magic to bind Topher to him. Now West wanted Topher to be able to say yes or no to whether he wanted to be a bonded mate. West could not ask this question out loud. So many times he tried to, but failed. It took where they rescued so many super naturals before West got the courage. I love this book and cannot wait to review Alpha.

West & Topher are a great shift couple - enjoyed!

AUDIOBOOK: this review is specifically for the audiobook version narrated by LaMonte Ridgell

First of all - this storyline was great and super interesting. I love urban fantasy so much and this hit so many right notes for me! I love the shifter and vampire lore + I really loved that this was set in Austin, TX, since I miss living there and recognized a lot of locales mentioned.

This is the 3rd book in the Blood Moon, Texas Shifters series and is the only one that is MM romance. I think it worked just fine as a standalone and the author did a great job of situating the story without info dumping. Honestly, the story is interesting that someday I may think about reading the rest, though it's MF. Maybe. I wish there were more MM in the series! For now, this taste will do. I really like both Topher and West as characters - they had to go through so much and West especially had a lot to work out for himself, given that he's an Omega and was worried about what that would mean for a relationship. The story was both interesting and exciting - loved the action! Also loved the family dynamics. Gotta say, though - bonus points for all the LOTR references!!! They totally made my day!!

In terms of this an audiobook - while the narrator gave a very good performance, there is a lot going on and sometimes I did lose the plot a bit. This would have been helped, I think, if the voices - especially for Topher and West - were more distinct from one another, since sometimes I forgot who was speaking. Mostly, though, I followed along just fine and the narrator's voice is pleasant to listen to, so no issues there. For myself, there is enough going on here, that I probably should have read the book first before listening to it.

Another great addition

Another great addition to the series. I can't wait to get started on the next book.

Don’t hurt your love

West and Topher are battling two forces, the bond and romantic feeling. It’s a mixed up heart full emotional ride as they seek the answers. There’s so much that goes on in this story, so much revealed and some questions answered. Great entertainment!.

I love this series! West and Topher are bound together due to mistake made by West. There is a spark between the men, but is it a real spark, or is it because of the magical bond? The relationship between these two varies from minute to minute – it could be sizzling, volatile and even cute! Despite their fierce attraction, West’s dangerous magic and Topher’s past trauma keep them distant at first, and they must overcome their inner turmoil to find home in each other.

I Loved this book.

I loved the writing in this book. Topher and West have so many problems but work so well together. The twists in this book keep you on the edge of your seat. I enjoyed the suspense of whether they are going to get Topher's brother or not. Vampires suddenly want to be friends and help.
