Bulgarian Magic
Kerana is staying with her grandmother, Baba, who is an herbal healer often called a witch. Kerana only wants to have friends and not become like her grandmother. A story with a surprise ending makes this highly recommended.

Kerana learns about her heritage
Kerana is staying with her grandmother for the summer. Her grandmother is teaching her how to use her special gifts to help people. I Enjoyed the story and the soothing voice of the reader.
