One of my ALL TIME FAVORITES!!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cliff Janeway is one of the best crime-fighting, police detective protagonists that I have ever read. The character development is teriffic.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes - absolutely!

Any additional comments?

I listen to this book once a year - the characters, the storyline and I have to add that George Guidall is THE MASTER narrator. An absolute knockout combination of great story telling and excellent narration.

Dunning is the Best!

Amazing story, well paced and suspenseful, and the best narrator around! The only problem with Dunning is we don't get enough new books!

Books Exposed

Interesting view into the world of book reselling and book collecting. I was amazed at how this works and how much money there really is in books. Totally unexpected ending. Well played.

Great read

Story weaves together the mystery and the world of book dealing and delighted this chronic reader. Guidell is as wonderful as always.

So glad I found this one.

A little slow to start, but riveting as it goes along. George G is the best. Just purchased book 2, can't wait to start.

it's ok

It's ok but not really great. It's on the plus list, so no charge. I'm about halfway through and going to another book for a while.
Also, I like Guidall in other books.

Great story, great characters, and wonderful narration. Love the details about the antiquarian book business.

Found my next detective series to collect.

What an interesting and unique premise, a former Denver cop turned book dealer.

Tight writing, captivating story line, mysterious, yet fleshed out characters. And Guidall delivers all with his trademark voice!
