Poorest of production qualities, abysmal narration

Don't Get This Audio Book. Just trust me on this one.
It was utterly impossible to sit through more than ten minutes of this narration. First off it sounds like it was recorded in an aluminum garbage bin. Its hollow, tinny, and the reverb is atrocious. However, no amount of production effort could make the narration tolerable. The timing is unnatural, choppy, and in no way resembles normal narrative flow. Its as if the narrator is reading the material for the first time, and completely fails to follow or intone even the most basic mechanics of punctuation, such as the comma or period. Even worse, there are mispronounced words that should have been elementary to say correctly.
There is simply no salvaging this particular work.
I'm going to check into a refund.
