About this listen

It's been a couple years since Commander John Marion - the US Navy's most decorated SEAL - hung up his dog tags, choosing his cherished Alpha over war.

Call and Alpha have settled comfortably into their carefree lives nestled in the mountains of South Carolina. No more combat for the commander, and no more ordered killings for the deadliest assassin in the world.

However, nothing stays peaceful forever.

When Alpha's brother Omega comes to their secluded home with a distressing message from their order, Alpha has to answer the call. But what neither of them expect is for the order to send them a new assassin, one just as deadly as both of them, to seek their counsel and bring them back Persia.

Lion's commanding presence was not at all what any of them anticipated. Especially Omega. Lion realizes what Omega is to him right away, but the stubborn man fights his every advance. Lion knows he and Omega have to connect if they're going to be victorious. He was sent to bring back an army, but if he can't get his cherished to yield to him, they are sure to fail.

Contains mature themes.

Overall Enjoyable.

Series started out a bit rough, but overall I enjoyed the ride. All the main characters were likable. I think it would have played better with dual male performers vs. just one.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this one. I loved getting more of Alpha and Call’s story. We get the idea that they are going to end up together in the last book but don’t get to see a lot about it so I was happy to have them one of the main couples this time around. I loved getting to see Omega find his match as well. This book has some action for sure but it definitely takes time for buildup between our characters and there were some twists. I was pulled in the entire time and really enjoyed the story. Loved the new character that we got to see with Lion and getting to see some of the other ones too.

The narrator is a master.

The narrator made this series come to life. So many emotions! I never questioned which character was speaking, which is which is rare.

Blue Moon 3

I think Viper got what he deserved. He should never have given the location of Hawk & Pierce’s home—to anyone! Plus, because he spent his money doing who knows what, the Beastmasters should not have retired because he was in debt? WTH! Not their fault that you didn’t save your money.
I also loved Lion and wish I could have seen a picture of him! Omega was his perfect match. I reread this book often.

Wonderful as usual

The seller binding romance, steamy scenes and intrigue keep me coming back for more. I'm not a literary critic...just truly enjoy the author, and narrative!

More sexy possesiveness!

The last book in the series was as entertaining as the first: hot possessive men who focus on who they want and go for it with tenaciousness. AE Via knows how to take her audience on a journey. The title of the series, blue moon, had me thinking of paranormal characters, but no, it was sexy men with arabic parental lineage. Hmmm, sexy. I truly enjoyed the series.

Saved the best for last

Each book in this series is better than the one before. By this one the writing has arrived, and I only hear the story.
Narration is excellent.
I really liked this series. It’s standard action military man brothers in arms with some MM thrown in, except it’s not. I like the ways it is different.
If you like Nothing Special, you’ll probably like this one too. Better yet, start with this series and watch an author grow.
