Such a Great Beach Read

This was my first book to read by Joanne and I was hooked right away and have read every book she’s written. You will love this story!!

Okay

I did not relate to the narrator. I felt a woman narrator would have been more effective in telling this story.

Really Great Story

I was skeptical getting into this series - it's not the type of books I normally listen to which is why I decided to try it. I need to break out of my habits and explore new things.

First off the narrator was BAD. Really bad. It was hard to get past it, but once I did I really enjoyed the book. Love all the different characters and it was a very well written story that kept me interested. Excited about the second one.

Finished in 2 days!

This was the first time listening to a book. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it at first, but then I couldn’t stop. I finished listening in two days and can not wait to listen to the next one. I loved all the characters and looking forward to their next adventure.

So many characters, too much jumping around

It was so confusing following the characters. I would have preferred little reminders of who they were.

Heartwarming

This is one of the best feel good books I have listened to in a long while. I highly recommend starting this series. Joanne DeMaio has written a story of friendship, heartache, time lost but most of all a story that tells that you can go home and find love. Narrator Steven Barnett is excellent. Speaking the words with inflection and feeling.

Where it all begins

Getting to know characters who inhabit this lovely beach town- It seems that there are going to be some unexpected turns and twists- and that these initial characters will be right in the middle of all of them.

Great story overall! The

A little mystery with enough clues to figure it out. The cussing was unnecessary! I didn't like the voice for the main Character Maris, it just messed with me; but as a book I loved it!

Beyond boring and no flow.

Literally unreadable (unlistenable in this case). I had to stop and water my money. I wanted to like it but just could not proceed.
