About this listen

The Vampire

Jayden Rossi, leader of the ultra-elite, Black Ops vampire team Blood Moon, is both the luckiest and unluckiest vampire in the world. He’s lucky because he has finally had the mating dream, and unlucky because team Blood Moon is being kept as slaves by the United States government. He can’t bring his fated mate into this nightmare, but he’s being driven crazy by the erotic dreams. Her elegant form…her plush lips…she is irresistible. He is determined not to give in to his desires, but now that the world has been plunged into a zombie apocalypse, he realizes he may be her only hope.

The Fated Mate

Mary Eldridge is terrified. After the death of her parents, she is forced to return home to the family farmhouse that is haunted by an evil presence. Despite her fear, her mind has yet another distraction. She is also being plagued by lustful dreams about a wickedly handsome man she has never met…dreams that feel so real they make her insides ache. As Mary tries to remain focused on cleaning out the house so she can sell it and leave as soon as possible, she hears a strange groaning in the basement. Funny thing, though, it doesn’t sound like the ghost….

The Slave Owner

Rem Thurston oversees the vampire slaves known as the team Blood Moon. This elite team has never failed him, and he needs their help now more than ever. The world has been overrun by zombies, creatures born of a rapidly evolving virus. They are now both animal and man, horribly vicious, and completely unstoppable. He must get back to where the plague started, at a farmhouse owned by Mary Eldredge’s deceased parents, and discover how a zombie apocalypse started in the basement of an empty house. He will do anything…sacrifice anyone…to find out how this locked-room zombie apocalypse began.

The Ghost

The Ghost has been waiting for Mary Eldridge to return since she ran away as a teenager. She doesn't want to just scare Mary; she wants her dead. The new zombie inhabitants in the basement might just be the solution she's been looking for....

The reader

I did not like the narrator reading this book, the book started off a bit slow but after chapter 15, it became real real good, this was a good book just a bad narrator

Busy story line

I actually rather enjoyed the book however it was very busy. Jumping everywhere and with no warning or really explanation. I feel reading the book would have been better. With so much to follow it really made you think and get sucked into the story. My sister listened as well and enjoyed it but had to talk out quite a few misunderstandings in the story.

So many great characters

So many great characters in this one-a vampire, a ghost, a slave owner. Loved the extensive development of characters.

great book

This is a great book if you can get into it. The book has a few downfalls. First the book can be confusing as it keeps jumping around. So, you have to get passed that. Second, I found the narration to slow for me. It like they have to think how the character to talk rather than flow into. The characters in the book are great.
