A Bible study on the Book of Revelation

To really understand the last book of the Bible is truly a blessing. Nancy Guthrie's explains apocalyptic literature with great profundity.

Excellent Study on the Book of Revelation

This is, I believe, my second Nancy Guthrie study. I’ve enjoyed both, but this one was just what I needed when I needed it. Decades ago, I was involved with a group of Christians obsessed with all things end times. Every headline reflected a scripture, every world event was foretold somewhere in the Bible’s prophetic passages. It was just too much. When I moved on from those folks, I left eschatology behind. On purpose.
Recently, I decided to jump back into Revelation so I went for an author I trust and enjoy. I’m glad I did. This is a great intro for anyone new to Biblical end times prophecy and a great refresher for those of us who maybe haven’t studied this important book for a while. She sticks to the scriptures rather than the headlines which was totally refreshing for me. I didn’t see a line of fear mongering or alarmism anywhere in the book. It’s all about patient endurance. I’ll be keeping this one on my digital shelf as a reference tool. Recommended.

Refreshing perspective; inspiring confession

Although the author explains and expounds on Revelation it’s a testimony not a lecture or exposition. It is a living cantata and rightly so, a song of praise and worship.

Best book on Revelation

I have heard lots of interpretations on the book of Revelation, but nothing compares to Nancy Guthrie’s. She points the reader to the Old Testament for understanding of what is, was, and is to come. I purchased both a paperback copy, and the Audible versions. I have read the book and listened to the Audible more times than I can remember. Every time I pick it up, i gain something new. You can hear the excitement for God’s coming Kingdom in the voice of the author, as Nancy read her words. I really enjoy reading anything this author writes.
I highly recommend this book and any of her more recent books.
