Emotional

Maire never fails me. I love love love this book. I truly feel like I'm visiting family while listening to her words. She is an amazing author and this series keep me wanting more. I hope to get to know more about the new lighthouse keepers. I hope their marriage survives and they move to have more children (as if Gansett needs more children lol). I look forward to hearing how Mac and the other guys do after the snip snip (this is so funny) and to catch up on how all the babies are doing. I can't wait until the next book. Congrats Marie on a job well done.

Good read, love this series

Good story, enjoy keeping up with all the characters in this series. Looking forward to the next book. preferred the other story ready though.

Just another day on Gansett Island .

I love it. The story lines were beautiful written and I am love with new people on the island. Amazing Marie Force your mind is amazingly gifted. Do you sleep??

This so far is my favorite book!

She touch the lives of almost all her previous characters lives. well done. Can't wait for more to follow!

Frankenbook Fun

I loved this book and so glad she could make it as long as it was. Love how Marie keeps us updated on the pass couples. Love the new lighthouse couple can't wait to learn more of them. And the babies! I will leave that information alone. Can't wait for the next couples story.

Fantastic book

What a wonderful way to catch up with all the characters that we've met on Gansett Island. We see all of the McCarthy family and all of their friends plus meet new people who have moved to the Island. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this book. I'm certainly looking forward to all of the books to come! Marie Force has outdone herself on this book. Stella Hunter is a wonderful narrator who brings all the characters to life.

Fun visit to Gansett

A whirlwind visit with all the Gansett folks of the past and the introduction of several new cast members. This isn't your typical Gansett book as there is no one couple or person it concentrates on. Instead it ties up some loose ends for some couples and gives us a little bit of excitement with baby news.
The narration was mediocre. Not alot of voice inflection changes between characters even within a small group of the gang. I am still partial to the original narrator of this series

Great characters/story

Marie sucks you in to her stories. Her characters are multi faceted “ real” people. Each book has a specific story arc but she weaves other anchor characters into each book. I love how I get to see little snippets of life on Gansett while meeting new friends.
I was disappointed with the narrator for this book. The dialogue portions were simply read in either a sing song voice for the women or a poorly affected male “voice” for the men. Dialogue should be spoken just like people having a conversation. There was no emphasis or pause or distinguishing cadence between character voices which took away from the flow of dialogue. It made the book less enjoyable than past books.

This was a sweet, funny and wonderful book of love. It gave us a chance to catch up with all the couples we have come to love so much on Gansett Island. It is always great to read a new story about Gansett Island, it’s like coming home to your family as you get to catch up with what is going on in all their lives.  

This book as with others in the series was an extremely well written, sweet, sexy and romantic book. A fantastic addition to the series and the narration by Stella Hunter added to my listening pleasure. Although, having said that I do think that a male narrator for the men would really have enhanced the story, but then that is just my opinion.

Loved It!

I enjoyed reading about all of my favorite people of Gannett Island.
Can't wait for the stories about the new characters that were introduced in the book.
I'm always looking forward to the new book!
