About this listen

Virus. Chaos. Survival. Alienated in a world where he doesn't fit in, Christian Black survives because he's different. Then the virus came, and made the world turn different, too. Now people are dying by the million. Food supplies are short. Riots are blazing through the streets, and Christian's only goal is to keep his family alive. But safety lies far from the city, and just getting out will be tougher than anyone knows.

This series has potential. After reading the next one, I will update my review. Thanks

Good start to a series

This is all too familiar in 2020. Good adventure read, (spoiler) kinda sad. Zombies as forgetful people, scary dark.

Great fast moving story. That sounds eerily like what is happening now to some extent. This author has me hooked.

He never disappoints!

Great start, story was interesting, and the narration was pretty good. I'm gonna give the second title in the series a listen.

Pretty Good

I liked this book because it can actually be true. however it was to short

good story line

The story line is pretty good… until you get to the end, when it just stops. Thinking that the next book “Black Rust” would bring closure, I bought it. It doesn’t bring closure at all. Once again it just stops

Just stops

This book pretty well sums up 2020. It took me a totally different way than I thought it was going also.

Short and sweet

this is a short but tantalizing story and I look forward to more to come

the main character is like a friend I grew up around and always had my back!

End of the world scenario, but not like a zombie apocalypse. I would recommend but will reserve my full review after I have listened to the 2nd book. Hopefully it will be longer as I was just getting to know the characters and committing to the whole series. Am I correct that there are only 2? And written in 2016 might might mean that would be the complete series. I think I am interested in more of Bobby Adair's novels, by audible only, so will look into more. Narration was great.

short and strange story, but worth listening to

I enjoyed this short story. It is redundant by now,but still well written . I agree that a virus can mutate to survive . Nasty little things . And like other plague events the few that don’t participate in ending it . Yes the dreaded vaccine that can lessen the worst effects , AKA Death . It will not leave anyone alone . Good Luck with life. Listen to reason .
