About this listen

The gates between life and death have been opened. Musician Jack Logan holds the key. In the streets of New York, he brought a man back from the dead - in plain and shocking sight of a TV news camera crew. Now the whole world is aware of his miraculous power.

The media wants to expose him; the scientists to exploit him. But worst of all, the tortured souls of the dead - including his own mother - are reaching out from the void, luring him into the eternal domain, transforming his gift into the ultimate curse. Living or dead, they struggle to seize and control the secret that lies beyond the...black horizon.

it wasn't even interesting premise on saving people who have just recently died. the narrator did a great job there are a couple of holes in the story but it's fiction so sometimes you have to suspend a little bit of belief of course the writer was very consistent and it advanced really well overall I really enjoyed the story I felt like the ending was a little rushed.

I’m a huge fan and in this story I wasn’t disappointed! The effortless weaving of the ephemeral world with the everyday life that’s known is amazing!
It’s definitely fast paced and the characters are well developed. However, I really would have loved to know how Clancy was doing and if he had in fact known about Jack via the tv interviews or the newspaper articles. Still not disappointed and definitely recommend to anyone interested in Robert Masello’s work!

Always an Adventure

Slow, terrible, boring and uninspired. While it had the opportunity to be interesting, it misses the mark in pretty much every way Possible.
