📚 Book Review 📚

Are you ready to fall in love with Whispered Words? If you read the extended epilogue of Wicked Deceit, you know going in that this book would lead to betrayal. It is well worth the ride. Knowing that every blissful step towards love will lead to heartbreak won’t stop you from racing to the end of this book. I was drawn in and read through this massive book in a flash!

Aly gives us no choice but to fall in love with the members of Whispered Words – the possessive Kieran, the obsessive Rad, and the sweet Callum. She even has us falling in love with Evil Ash. Even the FMC, River, knows getting tangled with the band will lead to heartache. Her dad is a famous rock star, and he kicked her and her mom out with nothing. Her musician ex left her, breaking her heart. Everyone leaves. Romantic entanglements will only keep her from achieving her goals. Yet, she lets the boys in, falls hard, and gets crushed in the end. I feel just as devastated and now hate the boys I had come to love.

This is high steam right from the start. They are all consenting adults who know what they want sexually and are comfortable with taking what pleasure they can. Expect scenes ranging from MF to group, including one long week of debauchery.

Book one in this duet is the before. I cannot wait for book two, which will give us River’s revenge and our well-deserved HEA.

I loved this audio production of one of my favorite book duets! The narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the story to life. Lance gave each of the MMCs their own voice and flavor.

I highly recommend this audiobook.

Great book!

I've never read this author. I enjoyed this book. I thought some of it was a little far fetched with Keirans mom. Can't go into details without giving the whole book away but I loved the ending and am looking forward to starting the next

Liked the story, not as much the narrators

The narration was overacted. The male narrator was over-dramatic and over-pronunciated the words. I found that a bit difficult to get thru, but I did like the story overall.

Mostly a good duet.

I thought it was rather long winded. A lot of unneeded background thinking. I finally skipped 4 chapters and didn't miss anything because of the repeated conversation in her mind. As for the story it was rather good.
