About this listen

Euphoric from finally revealing her true self, Hannah finally starts to find things in her life going right as she teaches Earth about magic and has a pleasant vacation in Manumit, the city of the robotic Crafted.

Of course, relaxation is always short-lived for her, and soon enough her life starts pulling her in all directions. Why did the Crafted originally go to war? Why did they so abruptly stop? How does she handle the government agents watching her house? And most importantly of all, how does she stop the impending apocalypse that the Disciples of Unification are so sure she'll cause? The end of the world is a little much for one girl and her friends to shoulder, but she can do it, right?

Except it's not a matter of if she can do it. She has to. There's no other choice.

This is the third and final book of Bioshifter.

Fantastic, brutally so.

A tragic, melancholic story, but full of humor and heartfelt love too.

Breaks my little heart seeing the stuff Hannah goes through. But Ida and Valerie are so sweet on her it’s just so adorable.

Absolutely worth the credit, despite the sadness baked into a plot as realistic about the consequences of imbalanced power dynamics from abusers onto their victims.

Also I absolutely loved how much the voice actress got into the delivery of the psychotic Goddess lines. It was delightfully unhinged.

Credit well spent.

hopes dashed but sometimes the good guy doesn't win

near the end I kept wanting to tell the her to name her spell Ultra Wormhole and thus force the world's to stay separated but that's not the direction the author took obviously

Great ending.

Became a fan of this author via Vigor Mortis which was very good but I felt the ending was a little rushed and out of nowhere. Exact opposite with this series, sad and happy in all the right ways. Absolutely loved it and looking forward to their next series even more now.

Creative and emotional

An incredible, difficult, fantastical journey. The characters are nuanced and real, the situation and world a stage.

Much, much better than “Good Enough”

These books need a warning that explains that you’ll likely be triggered repeatedly but in a way that feels worth it.

A bittersweet end to a fantastic series

An absolute roller coaster of emotions throughout this book but it’s completely expected from the author given their previous work. I don’t think I have ever read more relatable characters then those Thundamoo has breathed life into. I can’t wait to see what Thundamoo has in store for us next!

Evangelion monster girl edition

Bioshifter has been mixed bag of powerul message and emotion interwoven in dark and fantastical story, and annoying rants, preachy message and characters occasionally getting on my nerve.

I am proud to say that the finale manage for the most part be mostly positive as it hits me right in the heart with a dark apocalyptic scenario that Hana is face with. So much clever and sometime sadly relatable topic was able to be convey in ways that are entertaining as much as being important.

While the characters are flawed, that is sort of the point since they teenagers and who the hell will expect them to make the best decision. While there some flaws that do annoy me a bit, at least is not them talking about it for long stretch which is what really annoy me about the series. Honestly biggest flaw was less pokemon talk, but then again giving how lawsuit happy Gamefreak and Nintendo are, I guess its understandable.

Overall it might not be my favorite series from the author, but she once again just deliver a powerful ending to her series. Also Vigor Mortis volume 4 re-recorded with the previous narrator would be an instant buy, just saying.

Wow didn't see that coming.

Great series that deals with a lot of issues well and it made the characters feel real, even when I'm annoyed with fatalizum at times.
