About this listen

Two fae is company, but a company of fae is trouble.

Which is exactly what we've got. Trouble, I mean. Well, and fae. Lots of fae.

Something or someone is stalking and killing high-level fae around Hobart-tearing out hearts and leaving a trail of bloody bodies behind. Fae don't like it when they're the ones getting killed, so of course they came to hire my owners.

Owners, you ask?

Hi. I'm Pet. No, that's not my name. I am a pet.

My owners? They're fae. Well, two fae and one stroppy vampire.

Welcome to the world Between.

oh, Pet.

You've come so far. You began this saga with no home, no friends, and no work. Now you unknowingly collect supernatural friends who see themselves as your family. Wherever you are, among friends or foe,the world will twist itself to spin around you. In turn, you'll spin back to face that world and protect anyone who might be endangered by it.

More audio books please

These books are so entertaining and the reading is the cherry on top. And the whip cream. It really makes the characters come to life.

Brilliant

Gingell does it again. Another book that you can't put down. The emotional attachment to the characters makes you feel like you're part of the story, like you're there in Hobart with them. I cannot recommended this series enough.

One of the best reads for me this year

I just binged the series and am really hoping there are more audiobooks to come. This author has a talent for both world building and character building in a way that grabs your imagination and doesn’t let go. An immersive experience and one I hope to repeat.

Breaking my heart, but leave me smiling

Oh the emotions you go through in this book. I laughed out loud and cried and got angry and surprised as the story progressed. My heart ached with Pet's as she finally realizes she has to part ways with her psychos if she wants to stand up for what she believes is right. I was so proud of her and the growth she has gained.
The narrator did an excellent job infusing the emotion into the chapters. One of my favorite books in the series.

Each one is better and better!

I love listening to this ‘Between’ series and I LOVE the narrator! Each book is unfolding a little more of the bigger story as the characters begin to understand more of what’s happening and more about each other. Love the audio little key phrases and sounds that we are getting to know and love as well. Can’t wait to get into the next one!!!

Come on, Tantor! Next book, please!!!

If at all possible, start at the beginning of the series and keep going. W.R. Gingell is brilliant, as is Ms. Navi in bringing her characters to life.

My only complaint is that book 5 in the series has been out for months, and TANTOR HAS YET TO GET IT RECORDED!

Now, it is certainly possible Ms. Navqi is busy, but as we are all stuck at home during this pandemic and as I am guessing she may have a recording set-up at her home (please please please), I am really REALLY hoping this can be rectified sooner rather than later. For the good of all of us stuck at home, socially isolating, and (in my case) trying not to be bored out of our skulls while we knit through our stash, sew masks for everyone we know, or, when all else fails, clean the house. Luckily I haven’t sunk that far yet.

The best book series I’ve ever read!

Gingell is, without a doubt, the best at twisting a tale in a captivating way! The characters are so well rounded, and the plot is so beautifully written, that I can’t help but re-read looking for clues I’ve missed. I’m so thankful she’s kept her books clean and appropriate, too! Just enough romance to be interesting without being obnoxious. I’ve never seen urban fantasy done so well!

Well now I'm hooked.

I've grown fond of the characters & the weird story keeps me interested. Listening is a great way for me to relax.
On to the next book in this series.
