About this listen

When Sky Hudson first has a run-in with tall, dark, and handsome Nicholas Ruggarson, she wants nothing more than to throw her coffee at him. He is rude and arrogant, and she is glad she never has to set eyes on him ever again. Or so she thinks.

It turns out not only does she have to see Nick again, but she also has to live with him. Hired as the new nanny to work for Nick's affluent family, she can't seem to get away from the womanizing jerk.

With a hot and cold relationship and an undeniable attraction between them, Sky might finally be the woman to break through Nick's arrogance and discover there is more to him than she ever imagined.

Thoroughly enjoyed both narrators in this HEA. A sweet storyline, with emotional twists and turns.

Love the story.
Needed to read louder.
Turned up the sound but could not hear all of it.
I play it on a Kindle but still have a hard time understanding some time.

Very enjoyable story.

Some secrets from the past on the guy’s part, but he became a sweet person and developed as a character. The woman was very understanding and helped him. Somewhat typical story line, not a lot of spice (but a little).

Cute-Sweet story, somewhat predictable.

First I have to say that the narration was excellent.

The story, hmmm…I just wasn’t feeling it. I do want to address the other review about abuse: there was NO sexual or physical abuse. The mother verbally abused Skye, but not Nicholas that I remember. The story was kind of odd. I can’t even explain. I didn’t feel like I was “in” the story. Maybe because the MC’s were so young (early 20s), but I’m not sure that’s it. I just can’t put my finger on it. I did finish it, but I wouldn’t go on if it were a series, and it wouldn’t be something I’d listen to again and again.

I just don’t know…

First of all I loved the narration. Great overall story, loved all the characters and how they evolved throughout the story. This is a feel good story, one that you don't end up scratching your head at the last page wondering "WHY". That has happened so many times in books, but not this one. At the end I had a big smile on my face.

Sweet modern "Cinderella style story"

This was a hard review. I didn’t like that the heroine took lots of verbal abused even sexual abused. This was silent in the story. I wanted to like this story but I didn’t see a redemption from it. If you are okay with silent verbal abuse, this story is you!

Mixed review

This story kind of annoyed me for so many reasons. Nick’s refusal for self growth and moving past trauma, Sky’s judgmental attitude… in the end it worked out, and I get the characters were young, but Nick’s lack of ability to discuss what needed to be discussed got old. I guess there had to be a story line…. It was sweet and spicy and an easy listen, but I found myself annoyed toward the end with Sky.

Good transformations

Sky was very childish & pushy . I couldn’t stand her.. for someone that singed a nda she was a bigger talker.. Nick was okay

Ugh
