About this listen
Stop depending on expensive and unreliable food sources and supply yourself and your family with your own bountiful harvest.
Regardless of the cause, whether it’s war, fire, flood, plague, or unrest, it doesn’t take much to disrupt the steady supply of fresh goods to your local grocery store. And with climate change and growing political and economic threats affecting our food supply, we would be mad not to want to be more self-sufficient. A solution many people have been turning to is growing food at home. With a survival garden, you don’t just enjoy significant savings on your groceries, but also peace of mind knowing that you’ll always have something to feed your family. Even if you only have a small yard, you would be surprised at how much you can do. This guide will show you the steps to starting your own survival garden and growing an abundant supply of fresh, healthy, and delicious food.
In this easy-to-follow survival gardening book, you will discover:
- Fifteen great growers that are easy to grow and delicious to eat.
- How to set up your garden beds based on the space that you have available.
- The trick to sowing, propagating, and transplanting, so that you maximize your crop yield and minimize loss.
- How to outwit and outsmart those pesky garden pests and stop them from munching on your lunch.
- Harvesting, storing, and preserving your bounty to make the most out of every crop while reducing waste.
- How to store seeds or root stock from your own fridge and garden.
And much more! With this guide, you will soon find yourself saving those hard-earned bucks, eating delicious homegrown produce, and resting safely in the knowledge that you have a food backup plan for your family.

From the early days of raw corn liquor to the myriad distilleries that have proliferated around the country today, bourbon is a symbol of the United States. This course traces bourbon's entire history, from the 1700s, with Irish, Scottish, and French settlers setting up stills and making distilled spirits in the New World, through today's booming resurgence.

Story
We live in a world of seeds. From our morning toast to the cotton in our clothes, they are quite literally the stuff and staff of life, supporting diets, economies, and civilizations around the globe. Just as the search for nutmeg and the humble peppercorn drove the Age of Discovery, so did coffee beans help fuel the Enlightenment and cottonseed help spark the Industrial Revolution. And from the fall of Rome to the Arab Spring, the fate of nations continues to hinge on the seeds of a Middle Eastern grass known as wheat.

Story
Bees are like oxygen: ubiquitous, essential, and, for the most part, unseen. While we might overlook them, they lie at the heart of relationships that bind the human and natural worlds. In Buzz, the beloved Thor Hanson takes us on a journey that begins 125 million years ago, when a wasp first dared to feed pollen to its young. From honeybees and bumbles to lesser-known diggers, miners, leafcutters, and masons, bees have long been central to our harvests, our mythologies, and our very existence. They've given us sweetness and light, the beauty of flowers, and as much as a third of the foodstuffs we eat. And, alarmingly, they are at risk of disappearing.

Grow Your Own Healthy Food
Woah! What an amazing guidebook! This book taught me a lot of useful information that any gardener should be aware of, including how to evaluate soil, which I was previously unaware of. It will guide you on how to maintain your garden in the best way. I really recommend this book to anyone who wants to do gardening without making any trouble. The author listed every important thing a gardener should know, including tips on how to maintain things healthy and protect your plants from pesticides. Also, I liked the narrator's clear voice, which made it easier to understand everything.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for!
I’ve been wanting to start a garden for my family for so long but the resources I’ve found (YouTube videos, Facebook groups, and the other books I tried) just had too much fluff. I listened to this book and after a week I had the foundation of my garden started. It is concise and gives great examples, making implementation simple. My favorite is the accompanying ebook you get for free. It has really helpful charts and diagrams to help better explain things!

This audiobook contains everything you require to start gardening at all levels. It was well-classified, engaging, and best for beginners.I wanted to start a garden with my grandparents, but all the guides on other platforms inquired about a lot of expensive products. After listening to this, I started my greenhouse within a week, as the author wrote a concise book and spoke of very easy tips that are easy to carry out. I highly recommend this audiobook to all gardening lovers.
