Attention getter

I would recommend this to anyone interested in psychology. This book explores the depth of love one can have for another, and how a person's weaknesses can be exploited .

Because you loved me

Interesting and will hold your attention -alot of research but well written. On a scale of 1-5 it is no more than a 3.

good book, story just okay.

Sad story and figured out the culprit within the first two chapters. That kind of made the rest of listening to the story a little harder. But was a good story and performed well.

Another really fine TRUE CRIME book from this author! He does a great job of analyzing transcripts and records, court proceedings, his own interviews and contacts, and more, and then combining them into his books. l

You find yourself screaming with frustration and crying for the victim. I experienced so many other physical emotions while listening.

laugh? NO! cry? no, but it was a sad story about wasted lives.

i wish more phelps books were on audio version.

Excellent

Watch out. This book can hurt you. I'm usually able to maintain a suitable distance between myself and the true crime stories I read. However, when I finished this book, I went to the victim's website and cried my eyes out. Good luck.

Overall good story, well written. I recommend it, even though I wish it had a little more excitement thrown in there…

The story flowed nicely, logically, simple in the overall story telling which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I was able to navigate through heavy freeway traffic paying full attention to both my driving and the story. However there wasn’t anything particularly outstanding or special going on. There never came a time that “wowed” me. I kept listening because it was well written and in my opinion, although nothing jumped out as being suspenseful, and was slightly predictable, I did enjoy it, and recommend it as a worthwhile read.

Not written well

As a few others committed, the author puts the victim on such a high pedestal and makes her so saintly, I was ready to side with her daughter to get the Hell away from her. The author needs to think about it, an ex husband & daughter couldn't stand the women, why is that if she's a Saint? It was annoying after awhile.

narration was a problem in that nattators

volume did not remain steady. it was extremely low at times, then back to normal, without any action on my part. it definitely was a problem.
