About this listen

Someone's out to ruin Gretchen's happy-ever-after on the eve before the big day. Can she trust Hunter, the man she's given her heart to? And can she rely on her sister Daphne (the least reliable person of all!) to help her salvage things? Or is this marriage going to go down in flames before Gretchen and Hunter ever get to the altar?

Read the series to really get this book.

I loved the series. Each book was better than the last. This book was a nice way to end the series...and bridge to the spinoff series. It was also a tear jerker if you were invested in the previous books.

Nice ending to the series

I enjoyed the chaos before Megan and Hunters' wedding. I laughed out loud at each morning texting bridesmaid session.

Loved that we now know what happens to Daphne and her HEA.

Love it, Perfect end to a great series

Gretchen is finally getting married to her billionaire fiancee on Christmas eve. However, she is so stressed she doesn't like the caterers, some of her bridesmaids backed out and her dress doesn't fit her dress because of stress baking/eating. On top of that, she thinks her fiancee is in trouble. And now Daphne wants back in the picture. Daphne (Gretchen’s sister and famous rock star) reaches out to reconnect with Gretchen and Audrey (Daphne’s twin). Daphne has been dealing with her own demons (one year into recovery from drug addiction) and the fact that she is in love with her life coach / personal trainer and in desperate need to reconnect with her sisters. I loved how Daphne worked through issues that showed her progress during the long journey of rehabilitation. Her acceptance of her limitations showed real growth. I wondered how she would cope with being exposed to the festivities of a wedding…..you shall see ☺ Will Hunter her billionaire be able to help her through this or will this be too much?

A nice end to the series and bonus for book 2

Given that my favorite book in this series was book 2, featuring Gretchen and Hunter, it was great to see their wedding featured in this novella. I wish there was more time with the other billionaires, but at least there was a reconnection between sisters Gretchen, Audrey, and Daphne. The shorter length and lighter tone was also welcome. One oddity was leaning into unnecessary F bombs, which I don’t remember being a thing in the series.
