About this listen
Quinn is an empath; but if anyone finds out, she will be killed. Her father Baron Sammah has used her abilities to fortify his position in the court at the royal city of Everfell. As Quinn starts to question Sammah's motives, the young Lord Eden arrives at the court, and Quinn's life is turned upside down. As Sammah begins to make his move on the crown he has coveted for so long, he threatens to expose Quinn for the outsider she is. Can Quinn stop Sammah before he closes his fist around the Everfell crown, without losing her love - or her life?

very choppy story, good concept though
sadly several times i had to go back to be sure my phone hadnt glitched and skipped chapters.... there is no build up in the romantic relationship it just goes from nothing barely said hello to suddenly spilling her darkest secrets and being in love it feels like more than half the story is missing.

Great book
I absolutely loved this audio book. The story was amazing. The narrator did a good job. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the repeated parts. It only happened 5-6 times though.
