A feature writer for the Boston Globe, Sarah Palmer had it all – a beautiful apartment, a great job, and a family she adored. A thousand miles away, Mindy Sue Watson didn’t have it so good. Wild Adventures
We now have a new addition to the family and the three great detectives (if only in their heads) set out on a few wild adventures around the house to keep themselves occupied. I won't give any spoilers but I will say this not everything goes the way they planned it. My son and I adored their little escapades good and bad. I highly recommend this book to children. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.

Enchanting!
Bartok the Beagle is back in his inimitable style of happiness and excitement as he discovers new wonders. With his family, Denise and Baron, there is no limit to his journey of discovery. He meets two new friends and they quickly become inseparable. Bella, the Border Collie, is a fluffy little pup and Van Gogh the Rottweiler, has sadness etched across his face. He has been separated from his family, so Bartok promises to stay with him until they can be found. Because Van Gogh is unsure of his position within his family, Bartok makes sure to show him the joy of discovery in the garden, and helps him to know that Bartok will keep him safe. They find a squirrel entangled in vines in the garden and after extracting her, Van Gogh feels a sense of fulfillment, knowing that they saved a life. My heart is filled as I follow these puppies on their journeys and I really wish I had more Bartok the Beagle in my life.
The narration by Robert Woody is tremendous. His measured pace, intonation and accent combine to bring each of these characters to life with a unique personality and attitude.

Heartwarming story of friendship and love.
This was an enjoyable audiobook that reminded me of the Winnie the Pooh series. The author used beautiful words and uncommon words which will help to build vocabulary in the youngest listeners as well as in the adults enjoying the spoken words. Bartok and his two friends enjoy an adventure with each chapter in the book. The author repeats key phrases to teach the listeners about friendship, empathy and love for one another. Bartok's owners create a stimulating environment for him and his friends to learn and to enjoy life together as a family.
Extremely well done audiobook.
