I’ve read ALOT of book, but this one BROKE me. So good… very well written… just don’t listen to it at work like I did though.

Unexpected twists but beautiful

Beautifully written, I genuinely invested myself into Leo and Alma’s world. There was romance, true friendship and strength.

I loved this book. super emotional. had me crying multiple times. The narration was amazing as always teddy is amazing.. Trigger warning for some.

Are Soul Mates Real?

Anyone who has ever had that heartache of a first all encompassing love will resonate with this story. One filled with loving someone who is battles with substance abuse and trauma will truly understand the love story of Alma and Leo. Their story starts at college and Leo is Alma’s first for everything. Alma is Leo’s only love, only reason, his everything. They have a deep passionate love, filled with a once in a lifetime connection, soul mates. I sobbed multiple times during this book. This is a new adult to adult contemporary romance. Loved this book!

This book was really well written, you are able to connect with the characters. It’s like you get to feel the emotions they’re feeling in the moment.

This book had me in tears!!! I was not expecting that twist! My heart broke 💔

this is not a romance - this is a love story

First of all, this is NOT a romance!! This is a Love Story with no HEA, but it is worth the read.
This book has been on my TBR for years and I’m glad I finally got around to reading it.

Alma and Leo are complete opposites.
Leo is a playboy with a dark past and lots of secrets.
Alma is a bubble of light - she’s innocent, pure, and knows her worth.
What starts out as a little banter turns into a relationship that blossoms rather quickly.
Leo and Alma both have pasts that they are hiding from each other. Alma’s parents are hippies and prefer their drugs and partying over their own daughter.
Leo comes from a rich household that feeds on power and secrets.
When the pressure finally explodes, Leo’s secrets are unveiled and it’s just too much for Alma to handle but her love for Leo is too strong for her to give up on him just yet.
There is a lot of drama and angst in this book. There is a lot of darkness and internal struggles.

Overall I did enjoy the book. Definitely kept me invested.

The ending will gut you though.
