Von 1968 bis 1974 führte ich das Café Nordbahn in Wien an der Ecke Nordbahnstraße und Darwingasse. Ich betrieb es gemeinsam mit meinem Mann, aber der kam nur selten vorbei, und wenn, dann zum Kartenspielen. Als von Natur aus geselliger Mensch, aber mit der Zeit schlich sich eine gewisse Routine auch in diese Arbeit ein, besonders weil die Kundschaft vor allem aus fixen Stammkunden besteht.
