About this listen
Barbra Streisand has been a show business staple for decades, from Funny Girl and Hello, Dolly! to The Way We Were and, more recently, the Fockers franchise. Whether gracing a stage, screen, or album cover, Barbra's iconic silhouette is a globally-familiar image. We know Barbra the star, but how well do we know Barbra the woman?
In Dr. Alma H. Bond's latest installment of her On the Couch series, Dr. Darcy Dale - a renowned New York City psychiatrist whose expertise has been sought by such larger-than-life women as Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, and Hillary Clinton - is confronted by Barbra, dismayed after 30 years of minimally successful therapy. Over the course of a year, Dr. Dale conducts an intimate psychoanalysis, breaking through ego, defense mechanisms, and repressions to go deep into the heart and mind of one of America's last remaining superstars.

Every Day I'm Hustling is a personal book with a message Fox passionately believes in: that you make your own luck, that you never ever wake up in the morning thinking somebody's going to call you and offer you that part or ask you out on that date that's going to change your life, that you have to wake up and put on your longest eyelashes and fiercest heels and go out and make your life happen yourself.

The book is informative and entertaining.
The narrator is truly atrocious. She mispronounced many simple words, is not in control of her breath and is clearly unfamiliar with Yiddish expressions.

I want my credit back!!
seems like it was written by an 11th grader. The reader can't speak English correctly- axe instead of ask???? You use this illiterate woman? If the author used Yiddish phrases, write them phonetically for God's sake, explain them to this narrator who clearly doesn't understand them nor can pronounce them. Don't use her anymore - she's beyond aweful!!! I deserve my credit back. This book and reader aren't worth the credit or money I pay for Audible. if possible I'd have given NO STARS!!!

# 1 Barbra Fan
I am a huge Barbra Streisand fan. I have every CD, Movie & Book that she is in or that is about her. This book kept my attention from start to finish. I even learned facts that about Barbra that I was unaware of. The reader did a pretty good job and even sounded like Barbra at times. BUT...HOW SHE PRONOUNCED "AXED" FOR "ASKED" THROUGHOUT THE BOOK DISTRACTED ME FROM THE STORY.
