Poor Ocean. The girl has a lot to deal with between her evil stepmother and her kids that are just the devil, a gang riot and a whole heck of a lot of trauma, a lot of loss, a broken heart, lies upon lies and murder and a lot of mayhem. I swear I just wanted to reach out and grab her out of the crisis she is currently in as the entire world seems to be imploding right in front of her very eyes. You need to buckle up because a whole heck of a lot happens in this book that I am not going to tell you about. I don't know if it is possible to review this book and not give something away. I loved listening to it and I assume there is another book to follow because I need to know and I have a whole lot of questions. Don't hesitate to listen to this series The author and the narrator's are amazing and you won't regret it at all.

Wow… if you thought the story wouldn’t get crazier there it goes! Colton is everything! Sexy, powerful, compassionate. His connection with Ocean is clear. Of course even though I’ve seen how crazy Nic can be I still love him too. While Nic was obviously wrong in his betrayal I do believe he had no choice. Ocean is always talking about how rough their hood is but always judgmental as well. Her inner monologue is hilarious but often repetitive so can get annoying. I was so excited to finally see some dual narration but all we got was one chapter of Blake’s voice! I would have loved to have him voice Nic and Colton’s lines. I don’t like stories where the main female lead gets knocked up by someone else so that’s always a minus for me. That ending though… crazy! I’ve gotta finish the story now!

Outstanding Story & Listen🎧 A Twisted Mind-Blow!

Sheridan Anne what did you do? Why? That ending blew my mind, nearly killing me, you are either an evil mastermind or just plain evil. “Barbie B*tch” picks up where the second book, “Cock F*ck” leaves off be sure to start this series from the beginning, “Tough Sh*t” this series works best if read in order, even better listen to the audiobooks, they are all amazing. In this book, Ocean and Colton’s relationship is strengthening. Colton is handling things well, doing a great with taking over his father’s job, as well as getting revenge for the attack at the house. We get a glimpse of how powerful he is and what he can accomplish with his connections. Colton has been very supportive of Ocean, she has a lot to deal with and not just Colton’s PITA mother and spoiled and bratty twin sisters. She uncovers secrets and betrayals that leave her conflicted and pulled in different directions. Some storylines get resolved in this book and we get answers some answers to things we were wondering about, I will keep it vague because it is best to go in with an open mind. I will only say, that ending was not one I saw coming and I am looking forward to finding out why Ocean chose that path. Like the first two books the story is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment, there is plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, mystery, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotional moments and some hot romance. Sheridan Anne, thank you for another mind-blowing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, the talented and versatile voice artist Lessa Lamb continues to knock this series out of the park with her outstanding performance. She has a complete understanding of the characters she portrays, giving each a voice that is a perfect fit for that character’s persona, sounding believable in that role and just as I picture the character to sound. She sets the perfect tone for the story, captures all the characters’ emotions and projects them into her performance. Joining her is Blake Lockheart, who is equally talented and delivers an equally outstanding performance as Colton in a gut wrenching and emotional scene. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Great series

I love this series even if Ocean makes a lot of stupid decisions. Lessa Lamb and Blake Lockheart did and amazing job at narrating.

What an amazing job Sheridan has done once again. We pick up right were the last book ended and it takes off from there. To hear it in audio makes it come to life and adds to the book so much! This story is so full of lies, drama, betrayal you dont know which way is up or down. I couldn't be more happy with this book and I can't wait for the next. What an epic ride this has been and I'm dying to know how it will all turn out. I honestly would give this more then 5 stars if I could. The narration of this story was done so well and I know the next book is going to be a kick a** one also.

Book 3

Can I just say WOW! Books 3 is a great continuation to what is shaping up to be a great series! I always find it hard to complete a bully romance because I always want to junk punch the MMC, but at the same time secretly route for him to get his head out of his behind. The last book left me on edge, but this one I am happy to say has me warming to Coltan more. This author keeps throwing shiz Oceans way and she handles it like a boss! Plenty of drama, angst, and mystery thanks for the roller coaster Ms. Anne!

Wooooow I didnt see that coming!

Ok, I won't give anything away, but if you haven't read/listened to this series do yourself a favor and do it now! I am invested 10000% and need to know what happens next (yes I went and downloaded the ebook because I am too impatient to wait for the audiobook haha). Book 3 didnt disappoint and I couldn't get enough 😍😍😍

The things I will mention is be prepared for a lot of heartache in this one. A lot of secrets are revealed and Ocean hurts people and they hurt her. Some relationships will recover while others will not and frankly can't after certain decisions were made in the past. I will say that I liked how Jude's story ended in this series, not how I thought it would haha. I appreciated Ocean making up with some of the Widows, they were adorable (mostly) with groveling and being on her side and not just following Nic's orders blindly. I am kinda hoping one of them might hook up with one of Colton's sisters, but who knows haha. I enjoyed getting to know one of the twins, and their shared love of a certain awesome pastimes. I am very jealous of the library hahaha. I thought the new pairings were ingenious, one I totally saw coming, the other not so much (the opposite of the one you are thinking. My guilty pleasure is M/M so I could see it coming and was all in! I hope we get to see more of them or they get their own novella. It would be amazing and I would definitely download it right away and read their love story ❤️). Last thing I will say about this installment was the love between Ocean and Colton was lovely to listen/read as the story went on. I will say I am done with Ocean running and I hope Colt will remain steadfast as he has been with Ocean's decisions at the end of the story. I was dreading one of the twists wouldn't come true, but it did and I thought it was perfect for the plot. It happens in real life (it happened to one of my closest loved ones actually, so it was good to see Sheridan Anne put something that would connect with readers, despite its dark/hard subject matter).

In terms of the narration, I will say I was sorta disappointed with some of Lessa's performances. I think it was mostly when she was angry, she was veryyyy screechy. It wasn't yelling most of the time. She had been that way in previous audiobooks but it wasn't very often she had to be at that level. but in book 3 it happened a lot because of the plot/scenes. It did grate on my nerves but most of the scenes were short so I didnt have to endure it for long. The rest of the performance/narration was amazing and I loved it, just those situations not so much. I thought it was odd to bring in a male narrator. but I thought Blake did a good job, epitomized Colton. I wish we could have him more, maybe we will for book 4? I would give the narration 3.5-4 stars. Oh and the scene with the rival gang.....totally cried. That was gut wrenching and done beautifully.

Overall, I could not stop listening to Barbie B*tch and had to keep telling myself to get moving, not just sit around all day and listen to it 🤣 I am dying to see what happens after that dramatic ending, and hope Ocean and Colton from Ocean's decision at the end (albeit it seems stupid at this time, but I will know more once I read/listen to all of book 4).Can't wait to see what Nic does next, since he is doing fabulously with great decision after great decisions made regarding Ocean and her life (cue huge dose of sarcasm).

Wow this book gave me all the feels. I've been happy, angry, frustrated, annoyed, and teary eyed. Ocean has been through so much and now seeing the result of some of her choices. The ending of this has me wondering where things will go next. The narration was spectacular and I loved every second of it.

Ooo this series gets better and better and with all these twists and turns it will definitely keep you at the edge of your seats and have you highly invested from beginning to end!

This series is seriously so good and I highly recommend!
