PG-RATED FUN
Lexi Anderson is an up-and-coming, Martha Stewart-type TV hostess whose two kids love the Jared Strong adventure novels, which happen to be written by their new neighbor, Kyle Miller.
For the first time in his writing career, Kyle has writer's block - until he sees the snowman on his lawn and realizes it's the perfect solution to his plot problem. He digs in and discovers two things: one, his villain's weapon will fit inside a snowman's body, and two, this particular snowman was supposed to be the backdrop for Lexi's next show.
From this improbable beginning comes friendship, but can there be a happy ending for a woman who is afraid to get close again and a man who has shadows from his childhood?
Families join together and hearts are healed as this couple goes walking in a winter wonderland.
It's a novella of about 100 pages. The paperback version will be available soon.

• A very fun read anytime of the year.
• I liked that the author threw together a writer's block author who hated Christmas with a TV talk show host who specialized in decorating and cooking for Christmas.
• I liked Kyle, who was famous for writing Jared Strong mysteries. I am a sucker for a misunderstood writer.
• The children in this story added to the storyline with their cuteness.
• I like the funny banter between all of the characters. A good laugh makes my day.
• This was a clean read. But that doesn't take away from the romance between Kyle and Lexi. I liked that their romance developed from a friendship.
• This was a romance between two very kind people who had admirable qualities.
• The descriptions of locations and emotions were well done and easy to visualize and to feel. I felt a part of the scenes.
• There was a smooth, coherent flow to this book. The author's writing style was witty, vivid, and clear.
• This story had a satisfying ending.
• This novel was a clean read and I appreciated that.
