Bad Boys in Ireland

Marissa hires a Bad Boy to help her win the reality show set in Ireland - the Unluckiest Woman. If she can change her luck, she'll win the contest and get married. She's told that the name of her Bad Boy is Liam but no picture or description was given. When she arrives in Ireland, another Liam overhears about the contest and hopes to get an acting job. Little does he know that he'll end up trying to protect Marissa against the producers of the show when they try to put her in danger for ratings. I really enjoyed the descriptions of the places in Ireland, it almost made me feel like I was there. Rachelle Ayala has written another great book with flawed people who rise above their problems. I loved Tor Thom's Irish accent and the way he and Charley Ongel fit together with the narration.

Get Your Own Luck!!

Rachelle penned a fascinating story as I have been to Ireland and recognized places. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel were the perfect narrators to bring it to life for me. I loved how they brought the cat named Rats into it with the sounds.
Marisa Monroe came for a taste of Ireland on a reality show. She got more than she bargained for in Liam Donovan. She decided she would make her own luck. Get Lucky with this one!

Bad boy?

Being the contestant on a reality show should be fun right, but for Marisa Monroe all bets are off at the beginning.
Marisa has chosen Ireland as the setting for her preliminary round and also decides she needs a leg up for the win and hires an escort, from Bad Boys for Hire.
Total confusion ensues from the moment she reaches the airport in Dublin.
Not one, but two Liam’s Donahue and Donavan show up and say they are her escort?
One of the Liam’s takes her luggage leaves to get the car, the other Liam takes her arm and says he is her escort? Who is who? And where is her luggage?
In the meantime Mia Fairbanks who is supposed to be her assistant is trying to and continues to negate her at every turn, and she has attached herself to Liam Donahue.
Marisa through all this try’s to keep a positive attitude.
One She is in love with Ireland the country side, the folklore, Liam Donavan may? may not be? the man she hired but he maybe the man she wants?
Being on a reality show wasn’t what it was cracked up to be, but it sure worked in Marisa’s favor.
Finally did Marisa live up to the name of the show “America’s Unluckiest” Yes or No? You decide!

This audible book was gifted to me by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel the narrators, (I love listening to them), for a fair and honest review. Plus this author is new to me, thank you all. It was a fun and enjoyable story.

Bad Boys make a great listen!

An unlucky woman asks for a Bad Boy to help her win a reality TV show. As with all reality TV, there is lots of drama behind the scenes in this story and what Marissa doesn't realize is just how lucky she is that Liam took the place of the bad boy she hired. Liam has his own motives for intercepting Marissa's originally hired Bad Boy.

I enjoyed the dual narrators. As the story was told from the male and the female point of view, having two narrators was very helpful with the telling of the story. Another fun addition was the sound affects included in the story.
Enjoyable addition to the Bad Boy Series!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Love is Worth the Pain

Bad Boys for Hire: Liam is an amazingly fantastic story of learning to refocus and reclaim your life in the face of continued opposition and blatant sabotage. This story wound its words and hope around my heart, and it wouldn’t allow me to give up hope no matter how entangled and twisted things became. When I wanted to rest to save my heart from breaking, it pushed me forward into the coming storm, and helped me to brave it. Just the fact that the country of Ireland has endured so much tragedy and ugliness and still survives and thrives is enough hope that a new day is on the horizon no matter how long our night seems to last.

This is another fabulous hit by Rachelle Ayala. She knows how to aim for the heart and hit it every time. She isn't afraid to attack the hard issues and work through them until you can see light at the other side. Her heart and bravery is a beacon of light in a world slowly being swallowed by darkness.

The narration is yet another extraordinary performance by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel. This team does such a spectacular job of bringing these special characters to life for every one to enjoy and savor. I knew this would be another fantastic experience, and these two proved me right once again. They are truly the best narration duo!

Do you want to listen to a book that will just make you smile then this is the one to pick up? Marisa luck is bad real bad so she goes on a reality show to see if she can change her luck. Now to cover all bases she hires a bad boy. Confusion right from the start, a creepy assistant and a cat whom I bet is part fae are right there with her. The Liam character is one way at the beginning, but oh he changes. Does Marisa luck changed – not going to tell you really need to read or listen to the book. The narration is first class!

Who doesn't love an Irishman?

Marissa is a contestant on a reality TV show and has been sent to Ireland. She hires 'Bad Boys for Hire' to provide her with an escort in Ireland...but she has no photo...queue the dramatic music! Another Liam is looking for his big break into acting and when he overhears about the contest, decides to meet Marissa. Meanwhile, Mia, assistant to Marissa and also the losing contestant in the early round, is trying to sabotage Marissa's efforts. Can you see where this is going? Lots of drama and some LOL moments...Marissa is a clutz...and oh, so worth the listen. This enter series was fantastic! The narrators did a phenomenal job with the accents.
