Loved this Slow Burn Romance!

I loved Wes and Lily and their slow burn romance! Lily and Wes have a love hate relationship. Lily wants the cute son of the gardener, but after the death of her mother, she has dreams that will take her far from home. Wes wants to feel worthy of Lily's love and makes a plan to win her. Now the lost girl has come home and their old feelings come back stronger than ever. But with their roles reversed, Lily must hide the hurt and turn up the sass. Wes is done standing back, and will convince her that her home is with him. This was a fun, emotional and steamy romance with so much heart. I loved watching Lily and Wes struggle with their desires and finally owning up to their long suppressed feelings that are so much more than young first love.
Mackenzie Cartwright and Teddy Hamilton were so perfectly cast to narrate this fun and heartwarming romance. They completely captured these characters and made me feel all the hope, heartbreak, love, and passion they possessed. I was completely mesmerized by their storytelling.

Cute Love Story with a Complete Ending

Love this book and appreciate that it is a complete high school sweetheart with angst, love, and second chances that also includes coming full circle! Kayley did a wonderful job including details without dragging the book out! We’d and Lily have the perfect romance in school, she wants to venture out after heartbreak of loosing a parent and feeling lost! I love that Wes understands and lets her back in without being such a drama king... they reconnect and complete the story! Narration was spot on with bringing the characters more realistic!

oh my, now one of my favorites. many smiles and excellent narration but that's not why I love it. this story has all the good feels. it ended with me being all warm and fuzzy and hopeful inside, the perfect love story. the H and h are both good ppl. a story about growing into you and accepting/embracing your family with all the trails and struggles that come with them. I have not one criticism. thank you for this story

Cute Romance with a little bit of everything

I am becoming a big fan of Kayley Loring this year! Back for More is a great romance that has a little of everything, second chance romance, enemies to lovers, workplace romance and forbidden romance. Both the main characters surprised me a lot and I didn't harbor any secret hatred toward either of them. Lily was full of sass and has been in a love hate relationship with the gardeners son, Wes, since she was 14... she always planned on leaving home when she was old enough so it was a constant battle to stay away from Wes. I love that she was mature enough at that age to know she didn't want to get tied to the town by him. Wes Wes Wes, what can I say beside the fact that he was perfection as a book boyfriend! He always knew Lily was the love of his life and he was just waiting for her to experience her life and then come back to him. There is something very refreshing about a man who waits for his love to come back home, without whoring around in his free time (even if its maybe unrealistic)!

As always Teddy Hamilton and MacKenzie Cartwright did an amazing job narrating and bringing all the characters to life!

Swoonworthy story with fabulous narration

This is such a fantastic slow burn funny enemies to lovers romance. The back and forth between Wes and Lily was hilarious. As usual I loved every aspect of Kayley's writing, this book was captivating from beginning to end. The combination of Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright narration with another Kayley Loring book was excellent. Be sure to listen if you haven't yet, I guarantee you'll add it to your relistening pile!

First, Love and Last Love

I'm a HUGE Kayley Loring fan and for some reason I hadn't listened to this book and quite honestly, it's probably my new favorite story from her. It has the same wonderful witty & clever banter we love from her but this particular story tugged at the old heartstrings. It really is the perfect love story, proving that second chances are possible and timing is everything. Lily & Wes, kids who aren't quite friends but not exactly enemies. She can't seem to keep herself away from him and kissing him secretly. His dad, the gardener to the wealthiest man in town. She's the daughter that's determined to move away and become an actress. She never told Wes goodbye after her mother died, just leaves to chase the dream of making it big. Now she's back, same sassy mouth but with no money and ends up working as Wes' assistant, who works for her father. Coincidence? Nah, they were always meant to be together. They've both thought of each other over the 5 years she's been away and now they have a second shot at love. Wes is done waiting for her and is determined to convince her they are meant to be together. Almost instantly, these two remember the tingly feelings from their HS days and they can't keep their hands off each another. They fall fast and hard and realize quickly, they are in love. Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright are fantastic and slayyyed the narration outta this story. You instantly fall in love with Wes and Lily. The comedy and banter is super, but there's emotional and tender moments to the story and these two NAIL IT!
Things I loved:
💜They act like they can't stand each other but really they just wanna jump each others bones
💜They speak French back and forth to one another and it's freaking sexy. SIGH! Teddy, please narrate more in French
💜They both have complicated relationships with one of their parents
💜They both think the other one is the "bees knees"
💜They tease each other good and hard
💜The letter she wrote him when she left but never gave to him, gah!
💜There's always been attraction but now there's love
💜They both face fears and insecurities they have
💜They are stinkin' adorable.
Absolutely LOVED this book. It's sweet, emotional, funny, and one that I will most assuredly listen to again. New fav Loring🙌

Lily & Wes has hands down some of the best banter and one liners! They are a enemies to lovers/ 2nd chance couple that are simple perfection together. You can’t help but root for them from the very beginning!

A great escape!

I am rather new to audio books. In fact, Back For More is only the second book I've listened to. But I am hooked.

Back For More is a great story about the one that got away. Years after she left home to become an actress, Lily and Wes' positions are reversed: the son of the help is now her boss at her dad's company, where Lily has to work for a year before getting her trust fund. They've always been in love with one another, but her insecurities stemming from her fractured relationship with her dad prevented them from ever acting on their feelings. Now that Lily is back in town, Wes is determined to give Lily all that she's ever wanted.

Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright did a FABULOUS job with their voices. I got sucked in, looking forward to listening on my way to work. folding laundry, and even while cleaning the bathroom. I loved it!

I absolutely LOVED Wes & Lily’s story. The scenes from their past held so much young angst. When they come face to face at Lily’s return the chemistry is still present just as it’s always been. Coming from nothing Wes wants more, he wants financial stability but vowing to NEVER leave his father. Lily wanted to escape, to love her dreams. Wes always wanted Lily to live her dream and to be happy. Now that she’s back he needs to figure what went wrong and why she would take a job in her fathers business than one that would make her happy. This story is jam packed with all the feels past & present. You will be hooked from start to finish.
