Marcus deserved better!!!
I really enjoyed the first book in this series. Jakobi and Nari were #goals. And I loved getting to know Marcus in that book. The brotherly relationship was heartwarming. This book however, is FRUSTRATING!!! Nikki was wishwashy through 85% of this book. Marcus wasted four years, FOUR YEARS, waiting on her and chasing her. I wish that he’d had a better heroine/love interest. They may have gotten their happy ending, but it wasn’t worth the wasted time. The narration was okay.
