Predictable

The only reason I got this book was due to the narrator I love this narrator she did a great job. However the story line was good but I could predict what was in a happen. I would still give this author another try so I am looking forward to the next book just to see if there something different.

Finished it.

I generally am a huge HUGE fan of Christine Warren so when I seen there was a new series, I was excited. By about the first hour I realized this was not like her other series. Maybe the narrator's lack luster performance contributed to the overall blah tone of the story, maybe it is the story itself, I honestly can't tell. The story is predictable for the most part. I almost didn't finish but I was curious as to how she would go into the next one. I am not sure yet if I will get that one. Perhaps the actual book would help.

This book had romance, action, heroes and bad guys. The characters were shifters and pretty feisty.

The Alpha finds his mate and another shifter wants what he has.. I really like this story.

Not my cup of tea.

I've enjoyed many books from Christine Warren, but this book wasn't one of them. The book starts and ends with our female character being hunted/stalked. It never let's up! I couldn't like either character, the male was an asshole and the female was whiney. Neither character developed IMO. And the story or plot did not move this story forward, this book missed its mark. I'd skip this book or rent it from the library. I'd like the time I spent reading this book back. And I can only think of 2-3 books/movies I've felt this way about.

What happened Callie?

Normally I like most books narrated by Callie dalton but this was so blah! It reminded me of how a teenager might write this overly dramatic story with the depth of a piece of paper. Character development is zero. World building zero interest level zero. Callie just phoned this one in. Not sure if it was her the storyline or both. The heat level is also zero. If this wasn’t included in the escape package I definitely would return it. Well retuning it anyway so I can find something better
