That’s when our Declaration of Independence was ratified by the Second Continental Congress establishing the United States of America as an independent country. The fight against tyranny is never complete. That was the lesson of January 6th in our country when a failed former president tried to usurp control of our country. Fortunately, he was defeated by law - abiding, just Americans. The threat is still here. So this week, we’re celebrating Independence Day with Celtic music. The Celts also know what it means to be oppressed by tyrants. We have a whole slew of songs on the topic. Today, we’re gonna share a small sampling of songs of independence and freedom by Celtic musicians. It’s also officially Plastic Free July.
