About this listen

New York Times best-selling author Louise Rennison's Georgia Nicolson series, hailed as Bridget Jones's Diary for teens, is an international phenomenon. Loaded with colorful British slang and the occasionally mad ravings of a teenage girl trying to find herself, each book provokes uncontrollable laughter.

Robbie the Sex God (yummy scrumboes) is Georgia's official boyfriend! Life should be fab and double cool with knobs. One problem, though. The Sex God is moving to Kiwi-a-gogo land to snog sheep. Distraught, Georgia decides to show extreme glaciosity to all boys. But then along comes the gorgey new Italian-American lead singer for the Stiff Dylans. Has the new Dream Boat landed?

Sure to make you feel marvy, Away Laughing on a Fast Camel is another hilarious entry in the infamous confessions of Georgia Nicolson.

So funny

The whole book was fantastic. Everything had you laughing and screaming and saying no yes no you have to start the next one after you read this one. They seem to get better and better and better and then at the end you ask what happens next?

Narrator sounds too old

I really like these books, but Louise Rennison should not have suddenly decided to narrate this one and a couple that follow herself. I have no idea how old she was when she narrated this, but she sounds old, and that sort of ruined the book for me, since the narrator is supposed to be a teenager. I'm skipping the other books that Rennson decided to narrate herself

Ridiculous!

I don't know one person that actually speaks like this authors character. There is so much nonsense slang in the descriptions of the characters observations and thoughts and speech, that what she has the characters saying is way overdone to say the least. I couldn't get past the first 25 minutes of this book, and still don't understand what is happening in the story. Feeble attempts to make this book sound like our rendition of valley girl lingo but in a British format. Sorry to say that I had wasted a perfectly good credit on this book.
