About this listen

Katie Miller comes from a line of aura readers. She's never had trouble reading auras, until the new guy at school shows up without one. Katie can't help but wonder if he might be dangerous, but she can't avoid him forever. Unveiling the truth only leads to a terrifying realization. Armed with family secrets and an ancient spell book, she must revisit painful memories of her past if she hopes to set things right again.

This time, failure isn't an option.

short and sweet!

Easy to listen to, was a great book to get me out of my book slump without committing to a huge book or a series. This story has the potential to be an even bigger story, it has a great story line. I appreciated the fact that the author brought up mental health issues that aren't usually talked about in books. I enjoyed the narration as well! The narrator has a very relatable voice. She sounds like a friend, warm and engaging.
