A joint assignment. For Police Officer Jenny Durant, protecting a witness who is testifying in a high-profile case should be straight-forward. Or it would be if she weren't assigned to work the case with FBI Agent Blake Patterson. The guy has a gift for pushing her buttons and can be as frustrating as he is handsome.

A bomb is just the beginning. When a bomb goes off at the courthouse, the intended target is unclear. Until evidence points them in the right direction, Blake and Jenny must assume that their witness may still be in danger.

Interesting plot

I edited this story! I really liked all the different possibilities that could’ve been an answer to the mystery throughout the story. This kept me engaged in the story and kept me guessing!
