About this listen

Ever since her sister, Kasey, was institutionalized, then seeing Lydia Small die a horrible, violent death, Alexis just wants things to go back to the way they were before all of it happened. But normal people don't see decaying bodies haunting photographs. Normal people don't have to deal with regular intrusions from Lydia's angry ghost, sometimes escalating to terrifying attacks. At first it seems that Lydia wants revenge on Alexis alone. But a girl from school disappears one night, and Alexis spots one of Lydia's signature yellow roses lying on the girl's dresser the next day. Soon it becomes clear that several of Alexis' friends are in danger and that she's the only person who can save them. But as she tries to intervene, Alexis realizes that her enemy is a much more powerful ghost than she's ever faced before...and that its fate is tied to hers in ways she couldn't possibly imagine. Not even in her worst nightmares.

Another fun twist in the Warren household!

I love the entire series! I wish it didn't stop here! I hope for another book sometime in the future!

Probably my 5th read through of the series

I have loved this series since i was in middle school, it still holds up and i like to revisit it every now and again and i fall in love with the series all over again. This book probably being my favorite, bad or cursed being second, and the first book coming in third. I WISH there were more books! Still hoping someone picks it up to make it into a movie!

If you liked the first two then skip this book

If you liked the first two then skip this book! Everything I enjoyed about the first two books in this series: Alexis and her friends, her boldness and fearlessness - I kept seeing Alexis as that pink haired character in Sex Education (British tv show) …but this book had some terribly depressed Emo AF Alexis. I felt depressed just listening! And I mean alllll the way through the entire book Alexis is pathetic and depressed. It’s too bad. For the last book in a series you’d hope the protagonist would have a chance to grow up and complete their character arc but no such luck here. The author’s heart was def not in this book and it shows.
