About this listen

In the treacherous City of Temple, where supernaturals and humans intertwine, only the most cunning will survive.

Teaming up with a handsome shifter named Ephrem, the banished Princess Lilliana must find her stolen Ardent talisman before a sinister enemy uses it against both rival wolf pack strongholds. Thrown onto a path neither of them expected, they stumble across a third cell of supernatural shifters lurking in the city's Outlands, where tensions mount. These new strangers want nothing more than to disrupt the two royal strongholds, the ArcKnights and the MarkTiers, and reignite a long-forgotten feud from decades past.

Nice start to the series

I enjoyed this first book in the ArcKnight Wolf Pack series. This story has a different take on shifters and their hierarchy than most shifter stories. It also has all sorts going on: stolen artifacts, betrayals, rival packs, prophecies, secrets, romance and forbidden love. Lillian is a banished royal shifter who must find her stolen talisman before a sinister enemy can use it against the Packs. She teams up with, Ephrem, a rival packs loner warrior (with a surprising history) to find the stolen artifact. The narrator of the audiobook did a good job of bringing the story to life and adds to the overall enjoyment of this book. There is a lot happening in this story, the plot is interesting, the characters good and it’s an entertaining beginning to the series.

A kickass werewolf shifter banished Princess. Yes please

This is the start to a great series! It’s got everything I love in the book, Royal shifters, love betrayal, prophecies and stolen artifacts . Lillian is a banished shifter princess who hooks up with a warrior from a rival shifter clan. Her sister has just become queen which causes tension when Lillian is banished. I was hooked from the beginning listening to the book in two days. I though the narrator did. Great job bringing the story to life. Defiantly recommend this one
