Acerca de esta escucha
Ex-police officer, JJ Jenson, is a good man who has led a colourful but turbulent life. He’s seen death and destruction in its many forms. When personal tragedy strikes, JJ turns his back on his former life, and returns to his childhood home in search of peace, preferring to view life through the lens of his camera.
But when his camera captures the death of local woman Amber Wilton, the world of murder and deceit drags JJ back into its fold. Working with an old adversary, JJ is determined to prove Amber was murdered and to catch her killer.
The investigation gives JJ a new lease on life, but moving forward means revisiting his past. He’s being taken back into a world which might destroy the peace he has found. Will JJ fend off his demons and catch the killer?

Great start to a new series
M K Turner has come out of the gate with another truly engaging set of characters that provide depth, angst, love, humor and compassion in just the correct recipe. Lee Beddow and Perdita Lawton are an incredible narrating duet that bring life to the characters with such skill and definition that listening to An Ill Wind is an outstanding journey. I wanted to stop my life after the first chapter but eating and responsibility prevailed a little bit. This book brings to me a great reminder that some of the people on this planet are still over the top kind....or evil or a bit of both....take a listen and see if you don't agree. It is as always with gratitude that I share this D. Robb with this and the Meredith and Hodge series.
